ISS Planet Transit Tool (issplanet.com) is a free tool that predicts when the International Space Station passes in front of planets as seen from your location. All calculations run in your browser — no data is sent to our servers.
If you click "Detect My Location," your browser asks for permission to share your coordinates. This data is used only in your browser to compute ISS passes and transit paths. Your location is never stored or transmitted to us. You can also enter coordinates manually.
This site uses the Google Maps JavaScript API to fetch terrain elevation data when you click the transit path map. These requests are sent directly from your browser to Google. Google's use of this data is governed by Google's Privacy Policy.
This site uses Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the tool (e.g., page views, general geographic region). Google Analytics uses cookies. You can opt out by using a browser extension such as Google Analytics Opt-out or by enabling "Do Not Track" in your browser settings.
